Shrub & Hedge Trimming

A large manicured grassy lawn overlooks a traditional grey house. On both side of the cut grass are tall pine trees and small shrubbery outlining the entire yard. A variety of trees cover the surrounding yard.
Did you decide to plant a huge shrub because it had beautiful flowers and gave your yard some much desired privacy? Shrubs are stately and tidy, and can introduce a new level of artistry onto your property. We love shrubs, and we are experts in how to care for them as well!
We “prune” or trim shrubs to support the rest of the plant with the energy being wasted as the plant grows out of control. Pruning a shrub is considered to be an art by a lot of professionals, but regardless it can be agreed that it requires a level of skill greater than most yard work.
One of the most overlooked facts is that when shrubs grow with no trimmings, they tend to get wiry and thick, eventually blocking all sunlight to the inner leaves and branches. Once the “inside” of a shrub is deprived of sunlight for so long the inner leaves die.
When a lot of homeowners try to cut back their shrubs after letting them grow wild, they find that under the top layer of leaves there is nothing! Leaving you with “wintery” looking shrubs! More homeowners with a chainsaw kill more shrubbery a year than those pesky bugs!
Not all shrubs were made the equal! Specific shrubs have to be trimmed a different way, which is why it is important to find a pro! With professional regular trimmings your shrub can move back into its proper shape and begin to flower again.

A bright white sidewalk is lined by groomed hedges that are waist high and a deep green color. The hedges seem to go on forever but break with every driveway. Above, or planted behind the hedges are medium sized trees that are producing orange fruit.
An aparrtment complex with building lining the path that connects them. Around the path are shrubbery and white light poles illuminating the path at night. The plants and flowers are very tropical.
